Mills’ Bar Room Brawl

Emily woke me up, pride pouring from her pores, to tell me my poem has been published in a local newspaper. A newspaper i hate refused to read, no thanks to its practise of dirty bureacracy and lack-in-substance reportings, yet i religiously subscribe to it because it carries the best comic section that faithfully accompanies my cup of black coffee in the morning since 1996!

This is my first, my ‘virgin’ entry, so to speak. To be frank, the poem started with a prose, then i decided to restructurised it into the usual poetry form, and voila!

Bad news of the day : I forgot to write my name at the end of the poem, so the editor adopted my ’sender’ name; Mills.

Oh, well…the distance i would go to make myself happy!
