Gone Fishing
You girls seriously need to try fishing! It’s fun!
I was up at 9 this morning, and like the mornings before, i took my time enjoying my morning coffee, fed my screaming cats, and showered. Soon as i was done putting on lotions, my housemates asked me out. Told me he found a fishing spot right next to a railroad.
Not only we’ll be trepassing, we’ll be risking our lives too. Cool!
Let me be honest with you. My Dad loved fishing. I used to ride on his worn out boat and watched him cast his net. I once saw and alerted him of a small crocodile. He, in turn, alerted his fellow fish mates. I remembered feeling like a hero.
After my dad’s demise, i have this longing in me to fish.
So as soon as my housemate asked me if i’d like to join them, i grabbed my Man Utd cap and my chapstick. The little girl in me was happy!
Such a long way from home yet we didn’t catch any fish. But i saw a crab and a starfish on the railroad. I had fun poking at their dry remains with my fishing rod.
There’s nothing high fashion about fishing. You don’t get to wear your heels and you definitely don’t get to wear short skirt. But it’s nice to be out from the house wearing your worst once in a while.
X’mas this year was fun! I unwrapped a lot of presents!
Till then folks, be safe!
p’s: No hiding out in a hotel for Mills this year. This Christmas, she is blessed. No wounds to lick but plenty of scar tissues to show.
